No. There is no geolocation software linked to AKA'IKI badges or garments. By tapping the badge you just connect to the unique url of your personal profile which is linked to the NFC chip in your badge.

Just hold the top part of your smartphone very close, almost touching, to your badge. This will trigger the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology we are using. Do not try to "scan" the badge with your camera - this won't work. Before tapping, please make sure that your smartphone's screen is not locked. After tapping your badge, a notification ("NFC Chip Detected") will pop up on your phone. Just tap that notification to access your personal profile.

Our app is a browser-based "web-app" which cannot be downloaded from any of the popular app stores, such as Apple's App Store, Google' Play Store or Samsung's Galaxy Store.
